This spring we have a number of choices for adding and /or updating our look. Today's woman wants to look chic and modern plus be comfortable. To bring your wardrobe up-to-date check out the newest colors, hottest styles, popular fabrics and accessories. There is something for everyone.

Hot colors this season are greens (mint, emerald green & forest green), pure white, black and white combinations, navy and pale pink.

Trendy styles are the peek-a-boo look, pantsuits / trouser suits, city shorts, mini skirts, the "LWD" (Little White Dress), culottes with jackets, white shirts, and cropped pants (wide and narrow).
You will see influences from Japan, kimonos, India, Nehru collars, and China dragon embroideries.

Popular fabrics for spring / summer are silks, cottons, satin, lame' metallics, soft leather, wet look plastics, lace, python, chiffon, and lace. Geometric and floral prints, stripes, polka dots, plaids, block prints and patterned Jacquards are hot.

Shoes like the barefoot sandal, jeweled sandals, pebble-soled driving shoes, python booties, ballerina flats and brogues were all over the runways. Skinny stilleto heels and wedges are still "in style."
Plexiglas heels influenced by the transparent look are great for the fashionista. Many shoes have matching handbags for spring. Other handbag trends are metallics, necklace like chains on evening bags, snakeskin trims. Clutches and slouchy shoulder bags remain big styles.
